Washington, D.C.— DAGA NV People’s Lawyer Project, an independent organization backed by the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA), released a new television ad this week focused on GOP candidate Wes Duncan’s disturbing connections to accused rapists, domestic abusers, and far-right extremists. The ad highlights Duncan’s failure to distance himself from the endorsement he received from accused rapist Storey County Sheriff Gerald Antinoro and Duncan’s support for extremist, anti-choice group, Nevada Right to Life, which is committed to overturning Roe v. Wade.
“Duncan’s campaign slogan is ‘Nevada needs a proven leader to keep us safe’—and that may be true, but that leader sure isn’t Wes Duncan,” said Lizzie Ulmer, Communications Director at the Democratic Attorneys General Association. “The only thing Wes Duncan has proven is that he keeps company with those who are accused of sexual assault, domestic violence, and extremist views like taking away a woman’s right to choose.”
“Nevada voters deserve someone who will put Nevada families first,” continued Ulmer. “That is why Aaron Ford is the right choice for Attorney General in November.”
